I hurt my wrist over a week ago (not broken) and it hasnt improved at all, but I want to work out?
A week and a half ago, I slid on my wrist while playing soccer and didn't even notice it at the time. However, immediately after the game and ever since then it has been really stiff and painful. I typically work out every other day, but I have stayed out of the gym since the soccer game so my wrist would have a chance to heal (and I've used heat + ice, rested it, etc.). Despite this, my wrist has not been feeling the slightest bit better. Would it be really bad if I just worked out and ignored the pain?
Side question: Any good advice on how to speed up my wrist recovery? (Don't recommend doctor, it's not necessary and I can't afford it right now anyway).
Don't do any exercise to further injure yourself. Massage your wrist and arm for 20 minutes with some moisturising lotion or massage oils every few hours to increase circulation and healing to that area.
