Is it important to take omega 3(fish oil) along with multivitamin daily?

i recently was asked by a gnc worker if i took omega 3 daily, n i said no because i havent really heard of it like that. I do take mens multivitamin everyday. I do exercise and weightlift daily so is omega 3 something that i NEED to include in my intake. What does it do for you??

I highly recommend it. Most people are overloaded with Omega6 fatty acids. There is nothing "wrong" with Omega 6 but you have to balance it with Omega 3. Unless you diet is very high in fish, you probably don't get enough. So it's essential to get enough Omega 3 to balance. Omega 3's are also found in some vegetation, but it's missing important elements (EPA & DHA).

They did studies and it was really good for people's moods, depression & anxiety. It's really good for your brain & immune system in general.

I take fish oil & cod liver oil which is a natural source of Vit A & D & has some EPA & DHA.
